Caulmert attend official opening of the new recycling centre in Braintree, Essex, in recognition of their design input.

Caulmert were delighted to attend the official opening by the chairman of Essex County Council, Councillor Rodney Bass, of the new recycling centre for household waste in Braintree, in recognition of their design input into the project. The new centre is located on an industrial estate for easy access and is a modern split level Recycling Centre with ground level access to all bins for easier usage. The site provides a much improved service with clearer signs and easier to use layout, reducing traffic queuing with more space for unloading. The centre was opened to the public on 30th July 2010.

 

Caulmert had the added privilege of providing structural design input into the new public works of art located at the centre which were created by Ptolemy Elrington using scrap metal.
