Job Salary/package: £25,000 to £32,000 per annum

We are looking to appoint a Senior (Civil / Geotechnical) Engineer who wants to join a young, progressive company that rewards its staff and encourages career advancement.
The successful applicant will work with and support our team of engineers. You will have at least three years post graduate experience and be working towards chartered status with a track record of successful involvement and delivery of civil / geotechnical engineering projects.
You will be highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills, confident and assured with senior team members and clients. A demonstrable track record in contract preparation and management (ICE, NEC3, IChemE), project management skills is required as well as an aptitude for good verbal and written communication and report writing.
As a Civil / Geotechnical Engineer expertise in some of the following areas is essential; ground investigation design, reporting and supervision; landfill and quarry design; hydraulics, slope stability analysis, earthworks, flood risk assessment using PPS25 or TAN15, land drainage, or infrastructure design. Flexibility is key as is a willingness to learn new skills.
Experience of McCarthy Taylor LSS software package particularly in reference to Landfill/Earthworks Design would be advantageous; as well as experience of working with Auto CAD 2008 or similar.
Travel between our offices in Bangor, Altrincham and Loscoe would be expected and the seniority of the post would attract a lump sum car allowance.
We take training and professional improvement of our staff very seriously and operate annual achievement and development reviews to achieve CPD and knowledge of current technical standards.
