Over the next few years, a one million cubic metre earthworks embankment designed by Caulmert will be constructed as part of the on-going development of a major quarry and landfill complex.

Under the project management and on-site supervision of the Caulmert Engineering team, the construction of the first phase of the embankment works, comprising 200,000 m³ of engineered fill, a new access road and associated groundwater drainage was recently completed.

This huge embankment will now be progressively constructed to coincide with quarry and landfill activities, as well as materials availability.
