The scheme will incorporate both new build and refurbishment of the existing school at Purbrook Park. In addition to the structural works, Caulmert will also be advising on the civil engineering elements including drainage and infrastructure.
The buildings on the site can be dated back to 1769, although teaching did not take place within the Purbrook Park County High School until 1924. Since this date, the school has been developed in many areas, due to increased demand, whilst in 1989 the main building underwent a major renovation along with a new west wing.
Following the sale of adjacent land, the school has embarked on its new development including areas such as the main hall, teaching areas, laboratories, dining hall, technology areas, playing fields and sports MUGA. For further details please contact email@example.com.
