BIM (Building Information Modelling)

Subsequent to the government’s target for all government funded projects after April 2016 to be completed to BIM standards, the demand for the BIM ISO19650 working capability has increased, becoming a necessity on a client’s check list. Our team has the experience gained from working on numerous BIM projects that would be invaluable to a company looking to make the leap into BIM projects or from 2D CAD to 3D modelling.

BIM ISO19650 services

BIM is becoming a necessity for new build construction projects however, it also has the potential to transform the way existing buildings are managed.

Our team are proud to have achieved BIM ISO19650 prepared certification and can provide both pre-construction collaborative design information and digitalisation of existing assets in the form of integrated 3D models, using the latest Autodesk products. We have the ability to embed data within the modelled elements so that they can be linked directly to the relevant specification clause and exported as an IFC model or Cobie spreadsheet.

We can convert 2D surveys into 3D Revit models including all current building elements and their associated information such as cost, construction material and condition, this is a powerful tool to help optimise building maintenance, building operations and asset management.

3D Modelling

3D modelling helps transform a set of plans and elevations into an interactive tool which enables the client to visualise the completed design and better inform design decisions. We use the latest Autodesk products such as Revit and Civil 3D to create models from concept stage through to construction and project hand-over, in collaboration with all other relevant disciplines.

We offer a number of 3D modelling services including but not limited to, 3D renders / visualisations, 2D to 3D, 3D reinforcement detailing, 3D drainage modelling.
