Brunei Hydrocarbon Data Centre
Feasibility Study Structural Engineering
Caulmert was commissioned by Interica to provide property design advice. Interica, a hydrocarbon data storage specialist, was supporting the Brunei Darussalam Government to undertake a feasibility study in order to compile tender documents.
The new data centre complex incorporated both a National Data Centre (NDC) and a Hydrocarbon Data Centre (HDC). Combined, the scheme was valued at an estimated £35m, whilst the HDC was circa £6m. Interica provided specialist knowledge for the technical aspects of the Hydrocarbon Data Storage requirements whilst Caulmert provided advice on both property design and technical advice for the procurement documentation.
Since undertaking this feasibility study, Caulmert has worked closely with Interica to seek further international opportunities within this specialist field.Back to Projects
