Caulmert are pleased to have been appointed by Willmott Dixon to carry out the Civil and Structural Engineering services for a proposed £14m school development to extend and refurbish Ysgol Glan Clwyd in St Asaph.
The school is a Welsh medium school located in the city of St Asaph, North Wales overlooking the Vale of Clwyd and Clwydian Hills. The development proposals include for a new building adjacent to the existing, as well as the refurbishment of the existing building.
Work to develop the outline and detailed design for the project has now commenced and it is anticipated building work will start in early summer 2015, with the extended and refurbished school completed by September 2017.
The project will be led by our Associate Director, Paul Savile, who has a good track record with Willmott Dixon Construction in delivery of similar projects.
This is Caulmert’s second major school project to be secured recently in North Wales and adds to their growing portfolio of UK educational projects.
