The Daily Post Business Awards is one of the most anticipated events in the North and Mid Wales calendar. Every year businesses whose initiative, innovation and success deserve to be lauded have their amazing accomplishments celebrated.
We are extremely proud to have been shortlisted for an award for the second year running. This year we have been nominated for the prestigious Finance Wales Business of the Year (up to 50 employees) in recognition of our ambitious growth, having doubled our turnover to more than £2m in the last year.
The increase in turnover we recorded over the last financial year is largely due to our efforts to diversify the business into new sectors. We are picking up more and more work across sectors including education, renewables, infrastructure and commercial developments, including some really interesting, challenging projects, both in the UK and overseas.
Daily Post deputy editor Andy Gilpin, one of the judging panel, said: “It has been an exceptional year, both for the extremely high standard of entries and the number of entries from individual businesses, making the judges’ decisions extremely difficult.
“The quality of the entries is reflected in the shortlist for each of the categories and the awards evening at Bangor University will be an opportunity to celebrate these businesses.”
The black tie awards ceremony, when the winners will be revealed, takes place at Bangor University on Thursday the 26th of November. We are really looking forward to celebrating with all of the nominees, including our friends from Edge Transport, who have been shortlisted for the PwC Business of the Year (over 50 employees).
