Heritage Development – Former Home of Sir Henry Royce

Caulmert is delighted to have been appointed to work alongside Dickinson Waugh Architecture to secure planning permission and listed building consent for extensions and alterations to the former home of Sir Henry Royce, known as Brae Cottage in Knutsford. Sir Henry moved to the newly built property in 1898 and lived there for nearly ten years, which back then was considerably larger than it is today, as it is believed to have suffered from subsidence with part being demolished. Caulmert has a wide experience in dealing with proposals for heritage assets such as this will be submitting applications for this highly important grade II listed building shortly.
