Injection of Gas to Grid

Caulmert’s planners have cleared the way for a development project involving the cleaning and upgrading of biogas, generated by an existing anaerobic digester, to bio-methane and its subsequent injection into the National Gas Grid. Whilst the biogas has been used on-site to generate electricity, the gas cleaning and upgrading will ensure that the energy captured in the biogas is used more efficiently.
