Jennifer Chukwuma is confident that her and Caulmert are perfectly aligned.
The consultancy’s new senior environmental consultant brings a wealth of experience, with particular strengths in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, permitting, and eco-conscious initiatives.
Based in Colchester, Jennifer is ideally placed to deliver services on the Essex County Council framework as well as drive meaningful change and deliver high-impact results across Caulmert’s projects.
She said: “When I researched Caulmert, it was clear to see that it was a company that aligned with my career goals and desire for progress.
“There is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wider range of projects compared to what I was doing in my previous role, and most importantly, with a highly skilled team.
“Caulmert possesses a number of experts in their specific fields, all of whom have an impressive array of skillsets, and I am looking forward to adding to that knowledge pool, whilst continuing to develop and learn.”
Hailing from Nigeria, Jennifer completed her master’s degree in applied environmental geology at Cardiff University.
She then spent three years as environmental lead at a leading supplier of brewing and distilling malts and malted ingredients across the globe. It was during that time that Jennifer honed her skills in ISO 14001 auditing, environmental training, and risk assessment.
She added: “The auditing and compliance aspect of my role is really important, and ISO 14001 provides a vital framework for companies looking to improve its environmental performance.
“From this structure, we can ensure that the environment is not adversely impacted by any project we undertake.”
Harry Caulfield, principal environmental consultant at Caulmert, said: “It’s great to welcome Jennifer to the team, which will only benefit from her expertise.
“We are always looking to attract the very best personnel, and Jennifer is someone who will help enhance our work in the communities in which we serve.
“We look forward to watching her develop as we continue to grow.”
Founded in 2008, Caulmert is on track to meet an ambitious growth and development plan.
Its expertise in a variety of engineering, environmental, planning, and project management disciplines is supported by its use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to ISO 19650 standard on many of its projects.
