Monitoring of bioaerosol and odour emissions from composting facilities

Defra have recently published their review of the monitoring of bioaerosol and odour emissions from composting facilities. The overall aim of the project was to provide evidence on bioaerosol production, dispersion and potential exposures from composting facilities in support of future developments in policy and regulation of bio-waste facilities. Amongst other interesting findings, no consistent relationship was observed between odour and bioaerosol concentrations. Please see below a link to the full report.
