Caulmert Planners have recently gained planning approval for an extension to an existing Visitors Centre in North Wales. The proposal included the expansion of the café on the upper ground floor; together with a cycle rental facility, a small increase in the area of office space and storage; and the improvement of facilities for anglers and visitors on the lower ground floor.
In addition, Caulmert has been retained to submit an additional planning application for the installation of roof mounted solar photovoltaic panels at the Visitors Centre. The proposed installation of solar panels is proposed at the Visitors Centre to generate clean electricity to off-set the import of electricity from the grid that is currently being used to heat the Visitors Centre.
