Planning permission refused contrary to recommendation ………

Caulmert’s planners have now been appointed to pursue two planning appeals following the refusal of planning permission for the erection of a total of 129 houses. Both sites are allocated for housing purposes in the Development Plan and planning permission was refused contrary to the recommendation of the officers. The principle matters to be addressed through the appeals include viability, affordable housing provision, vehicular access, townscape and open space provision.
