Caulmert was commissioned to provide a range of structural, civil and geotechnical engineering consultancy services for the design of a new 7 storey residential development in the northwest.
The development comprises the demolition of existing dwellings, followed by underpinning of adjacent properties and a perimeter sheet piled retaining structure. Once in place levels will be reduced within the site by up to 4.5m to facilitate the basement level of the apartment block as well as the separate two storey basement/ under croft car park to the rear.
Caulmert has designed and detailed the significant and difficult sub structure works associated with this development which has required close liaison with neighbouring properties along with temporary works co- ordination during the ground works.
Caulmert is pleased to have been commissioned to carry out the structural engineering consultancy services associated with this multi storey development.
