Caulmert Limited worked closely with Edge Transport to develop a scheme that met their aspirations and budgetory requirements. Having purchased a 6 acre site on Deeside Industrial Park, Edge Transport embarked on a new build development which was to include new offices, transhipment and warehousing buildings.
Starting from a blank sheet of paper, Caulmert developed a scheme, on behalf of Edge Transport, to include 400m2 of ‘bespoke’ office space, 6,250m2 transhipment facility and the refurbishment of 1,000m2 of existing warehousing. Working with the client, Caulmert developed a long term ‘growth’ masterplan, which subsequently secured planning through our planning consultancy team.
Following detailed design, a tender pack was developed and managed prior to the appointment of the principal contractor. Caulmert took a ‘turnkey’ brief from the client and delivered a scheme which has met the clients expectations and overall vision for the future of their business.
