Caulmert was appointed by Viridor Waste Management to carry out a review of the existing yard and drainage conditions and develope an improvement scheme to meet the Environment Agency requirements.
Caulmert carried out a site appraisal of both the existing yard conditions and provide ‘betterment’ to the existing drainage system. Due to limited discharge rates imposed by the industrial park landlord, along with the Environment Agency requirements for full site attenuation, as scheme was developed along with the preperation of tender documents.
The new scheme included a 100% storage facility for drainage along with the associated petrol interceptor system in order to meet the requirements of the Environmanet Agency.
