Caulmert Limited have undertaken a number of Design & Build school projects in Shropshire for Contractor Pave Aways. One project, currently on-site is a £4.8m, 210 place single storey extension of the Lawley Primary School in Telford.
Delivery was to be for the start of the school term in September 2024. The scope of works undertaken by Caulmert included geotechnical advice, civil, structural and highway engineering. Initial design work and supporting studies enabled the project to obtain planning consent. This has been followed up by the detailed design of both the steel structure, the substructure and external works.
