Caulmert have provided Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering services as part of Capita’s design team and working for Read Construction during the construction phase under a Design and Build Contract.
The new Sports Science Facility is a state-of-the-art project at the Llangefni campus and includes a brand new sports hall, large gym, changing facilities, 7 Sport Science classrooms, Sports Biometrics laboratories, staff rooms and equipment storage.
The design of the facility is being carried out to BIM level 2 with a target to achieve BREEAM Excellent rating and a Net-Zero annual energy usage.
Completion – Autumn 2022 with the new centre opening at the start of 2023.
