In helping to promote the generation of energy from renewable resources, Caulmert has recently secured planning permission for the installation of an extensive ground and roof mounted solar photovoltaic array.
The electricity generated by the solar panels will be used entirely by existing processes on the wider application site and will substitute for energy presently drawn from the National Grid.
It is anticipated that the proposed solar array will assist the client in reducing the carbon footprint of the site and will make a contribution to the reduction of overall greenhouse gas emissions.
A further planning application, prepared and submitted by Caulmert, for the installation of a solar array on a second site is presently under consideration by the Local Planning Authority, as the clients pursue their carbon reduction objectives.
