Bydd y datblygiad arfaethedig yn cael ei leoli ar safle’r ysgol gynradd bresennol ym Montnewydd a bydd yn disodli’r adeiladau presennol gyda chyfleuster modern newydd.
The proposed development will be located on the site of the current primary school in Bontnewydd and shall replace the existing buildings with a new modern facility.
DISGRIFIAD O’R DATBLYGIAD / DESCRIPTION OF DEVELOPMENT
Bydd y datblygiad yn cynnwys ysgol gynradd Gymraeg newydd ar gyfer 240 o ddisgyblion a chanolfan gymunedol. Bydd darpariaethau ar gyfer Cylch Meithrin ac ADY yn cael eu darparu ynghyd â neuadd gymunedol a mannau newid llawn. Bydd yr adeilad yn ddau lawr ac wedi’i ddylunio gydag egwyddorion cynaliadwy i leihau’r galw am ynni.
Yn allanol, cynigir ffordd fynediad a maes parcio newydd ochr yn ochr â llochesi beiciau a mannau gwefru cerbydau trydan. Bydd pob lloches a thanc chwistrellu newydd yn cael eu darparu ochr yn ochr â mannau chwarae newydd a thirlunio allanol.
The development will include a new Welsh medium primary school for 240 pupils and a community centre. Provisions for a Cylch Meithrin and ALN facility will be provided along with a community hall and full changing places. The building will be two story and designed with sustainable principals to reduce energy demand.
Externally, a new access road and car park is proposed alongside cycle shelters and electric vehicle charging points. All new refuge shelters and sprinkler tanks will be provided alongside new play areas and external landscaping.
